There are people you travel well with and people you absolutely don’t.
Alexia is one of those rare people with whom everything feels like a dance on roses. She’s never moody, and I mean never. Even when our flight got cancelled, then delayed for six hours while we were already on board, causing us to miss our connection… she was still smiling.
Somewhere between Chanel and Miu Miu on Fifth Avenue, I started having a full jet lag meltdown.
Alexia? Happy as a hippo.
So I asked her for her best beauty and travel hack:
- Drink water: it sounds almost too simple, but it is the easiest hack and somehow the one people are worst at. ( looking at you, Chloé)
- Less i sm ore when it comes to beauty: " I have my staple products", she says, " and I stick to them". No experimenting while traveling. Her one indulgence? A good sheet mask - Obviously BISOU
- Rituals are everything. They romanticize the trip and somehow make it feel shorter: a good book ( I am currently reading Let Them), a glass of wine, and a sheet mask and suddenly, the journey feels like part of the holiday

Never change your rhythm when traveling
This one Alexia learned over the years: keep your routines. Travel is full of things you can’t control delays, cancellations, missed connections.
The best antidote? Hold onto what feels familiar. Keep your rhythm, keep smiling, and let the rest sort itself out.
